I have arrived

I only have limited access to the internet right now, so I can't do much. The trip was uneventful, though boring, and the transport from Cape Town to Stellenbosch was nice. Until I can post more information- with pictures (you guys are going to be jealous), here are the answers to some questions I'm getting pummeled with:

Internet Cafes are where one pays for internet access. They do not serve (well, the ones here anyway) coffee or food. No, I've not yet gotten any coffee, but there's a shop I've found that I plan to hit up.

They fed us on the plane- on both legs. They fed us quite well, actually. Blankets, movies, tv, games, etc.

Housing is good. I'm on the top floor (3rd) of the Concordia building. It's a big squre with open hallways and a center courtyard. I share my flat with 3 other people, only 1 of which has moved in. All I know about her so far is that she likes to leave her stuff around the common areas. I have my own room AND, get this, my own bathroom WITH a tub/shower AND a spectacular view.

I've been to the store, "Pick and Pay" which has groceries and household items, but I can't find a place to buy a friggin towel. That's irritating.

There's no tv in the flat, but I was up at 4am today (04:00 as they say here- they use miliary time) and went to the group room where there's a TV. I didn't explore the channels, but Hancock (Will Smith) was on. I've heard there's a Woolsworth's around that I will try to locate.

I've not yet had any traditional foods here. There are samoosa's prepared at the Pick n' Pay (Indian, I know), and the other restaurants seem to be Pizza/Burger related. Yes, I brought my meal bars, and yes, I got carrots.
